Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tagani Agents (“Tagani”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit taganiagents.com, use the client app at app.taganiagents.com, or call or chat with an AI agent we run for one of our business clients. We serve businesses worldwide, except in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

1. Information we collect

  • From business clients: name, business name, email, phone number, billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers), and the business information you add to set up your agent, such as hours, services, prices and calendar connections.
  • From callers and chat visitors: phone number, name, address, the reason for the call, appointment details, call recordings, transcripts and chat messages, collected when the agent answers on behalf of one of our clients.
  • From website visitors: information you submit in our request form, and basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To answer calls and chats, book appointments and send confirmations and alerts for our clients.
  • To set up, run and support client accounts, and to bill for the Service.
  • To reply to access requests and other messages.
  • To keep the Service secure, fix problems and improve call quality.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Caller information belongs to our clients

When our agent answers for a business, that business controls the caller’s information, and we process it on the business’s behalf. If you called a business that uses Tagani and have a question about your information, you can contact that business or email us and we will pass your request on.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that require them to protect it:

  • AI voice and chat platform providers that power the agents
  • Phone and text message carriers
  • Calendar and scheduling tools you choose to connect
  • Payment processing (Stripe)
  • Website hosting and email delivery

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of people or the Service. Some providers process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

5. Text messages

Callers may receive texts such as booking confirmations. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Phone numbers and text opt-in information are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Call recordings

Calls answered by our agents may be recorded and transcribed so the business can review them and so we can improve accuracy. Where the law requires it, callers are told at the start of the call that it may be recorded.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses essential cookies needed for it to work, such as remembering your light or dark mode choice. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site, in aggregated form. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. For visitors in the UK, the EU and the wider European Economic Area, analytics stays off until you accept. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

8. How long we keep information

We keep client account information while the account is active and as needed for tax and legal records. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 12 months unless the client deletes them sooner or asks us to keep them for a different period. Access-request form submissions are kept for up to 24 months.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected people if a breach occurs, as required by law.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it to another service. These rights exist under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other US state laws, Canada’s PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25, Australia’s Privacy Act, Brazil’s LGPD and South Africa’s POPIA. Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve it) and consent (where we ask for it) as our legal bases. To make a request, email support@taganiagents.com. We respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and will not treat you differently for using your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will notify clients by email.
